Let's play a game, shall we?
Yes, my mother taught me not to play with my food. But this is ART, people. Art and education.

and go make some Valentine cookies.
(I used Emma's sugar cookie recipe for this particular batch)
Speaking of heart rhythms, Drew (a paramedic here in northern Idaho) started up a blog called Stupid Heart Rhythms. It brings to light the fact that there are A LOT of images out there with completely ludicrous heart rhythms, and they're being displayed on things like news and medical websites.
(I even make an appearance in this post, educating the masses about a normal sinus rhythm).
Check out Drews blog and have a chuckle. :)
ps. Soooo... who wants to be lucky follower 300? You're next. :)
**update: well, thank you Drew, lucky number 300.**

I can't name those heart rhythms, but I really want to eat one. :)Please?
Torsades with sprinkles! I love it!!
Those are awesome cookies--definitely something I've never seen before and something so appropriate for nurses. And I think it's cool that you can recognize when the heart rhythms shown on websites or tv are totally ridiculous. That's a fun advantage for everyone of us who knows some sort of "code". Like how I noticed immediately that my cousin's tattoo of the Chinese character for "Strong" was upside down the minute I looked at it...
I spy V Tach & asystole and maybe an a fib or flutter ;)
I suck at heart rhythms though...haha! These are too cute!

I'm a little late but how cute are those cookies?! I'm a nurse on a trauma unit in louisiana. I will definitely have to show these to my coworkers. They will be soo impressed! Found your blog on "This Won't Hurt a Bit". Lots of nursing love :-)
